Our website host, Vercel, processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. This may include your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps and security logs. The website does not currently offer account registration, email uploads or payment collection.
The claim examples use fictional information. Clicking the demonstration buttons changes text in your browser; it does not submit a claim, start a payment or send the example to our backend.
How we use information
We use necessary technical information to serve the website, investigate faults and prevent abuse. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure website. If you contact us, we use the information you provide to answer your request, based on our legitimate interest in handling enquiries, or to take steps you request before entering a contract. We have not added advertising trackers, analytics scripts or non-essential cookies to this website. Fonts and images are hosted with the website rather than loaded from external font services. Who receives information
Vercel provides website hosting and delivery. Vercel processes hosting data under its Data Processing Addendum and describes its independent processing in its privacy notice. Our email provider also processes correspondence when you contact us. We may share information when required by law or where necessary to protect the website and its users. Links to Muse, source reports and other websites lead to separate services with their own privacy notices.
Storage and international transfers
Vercel operates internationally, including in the United States. Its published Data Processing Addendum provides contractual safeguards for restricted transfers, including standard contractual clauses and UK transfer provisions where applicable. We determine how long to retain enquiry information by whether your request is still open, whether follow-up or a complaint needs handling, and whether a legal obligation or dispute requires retention. Information should not be retained beyond those purposes. Hosting logs follow the provider’s applicable retention arrangements, including operational, security and legal needs; we do not promise a fixed deletion period for provider-held records. The future Recoverr connector
The public website does not scan your email, connect to Muse or send your records to an AI model. Before any real-data connector or beta is made available, we will provide a service-specific notice explaining the information shared with Recoverr, AI and payment providers, purposes, lawful bases, retention, international transfers and your controls. This website notice does not authorise that future processing.
